Works on the new-shared Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service Reception Gatehouse have commenced on site

Mackellar Schwedt Architects are pleased to be acting for P H Beck Ltd the successful Design & Build Contractor appointed to the new Gatehouse Reception project.

We are providing RIBA Stage 4 & 5 technical design services, which will see the conversion of the former Garage Block, at the Sussex Police Headquarters in Lewes, creating a new standalone “Gatehouse” building to serve as a new reception to the combined Sussex Police and East Sussex Fire & Rescue Service headquarters.

The works which commenced mid December are expected to complete early summer 2018.
